On Monday February 8th from 9:00 to 10:30AM Dan Smith from the Vermont Community Foundation and I will be kicking off the plenary session of the Vermont Community Foundation’s new “Invest in Vermont” series with our best attempt at recreating the vibe of the old Vermont Venture Network breakfast series for today’s virtual environment. My portion of this session will focus on Vermont private investment data for the past year including deals done, dollars invested, and the trends in the Vermont startup investment scene in general. While 2020 was a unique and challenging year for many, the startup investment world in Vermont was quite robust. This session is appropriate for investors, entrepreneurs, public policy makers and economic development professionals, academics and members of the press.
